After exploring mainland Spain for a suitable area to set up a base in which to train for the Dakar, the Jaen region ticked all the boxes, it made such an impression on us that we didn't want to leave.
After organising and guiding many ski holidays to the nearby Sierra Nevada for friends and family we drew on this experience to set up the motorcycle tour company. Having attending numerous training courses throughout our lives we considered it was time to impart some of this knowledge and experience to others, so the training centre concept has created.

opportunity to ride in one of Spain's natural playgrounds, situated adjacent to the Cazorla National Park in the very heart of rural Spain. Picture this; you're coming in to land after a two hour budget flight from the UK, we pick you up from the airport with our support vehicle loaded with bikes and equipment. In less than an hour you could be on the trail, starting virtually on the beach we head inland toward the Sierras ascending towards our lunch stop a few hours later by which time we've climbed to 1950 metres above sea level, not bad for a mornings work!
Our philosophy is a simple equation; we give you the maximum bike time over the most varied terrain we can find for your level of riding.
Whether it's a "have a go day", a training session or a full tour, we guarantee you'll not be disappointed you came. Situated within a few hundred metres of Spain's most famous and largest national park, the "Parque de Cazorla" you cannot fail to be impressed by the areas wildlife and outstanding natural beauty.
Because of our location inland, high in the Cazorla Mountains we have the privilege of being able to ride off-road directly from the Touratrail workshop door. In fact our mission when we were developing the company was to construct tours that use the absolute minimal amount of the black stuff, and apart from approaching fuel and lunch stops we have virtually succeeded.
The area we have access to, has a wide variety of terrain which we have made full use of, in one day alone you can experience easy pistes, steep rock strewn ascents and descents, wet river crossings, dry river beds and fast forest trails. From the menu of tours on offer we can then further adjust these to suit any particular requirements of your group and riding ability If you have never ridden off-road before and would like a day or days training before a tour, that's not a problem, if on the other hand you're an experienced enduro
rider and want a pre season shakedown with your own bike we can cater for that as well. If you are still undecided about what would suit you best, why not come out for a "have a go day" and if you enjoy it, why not stay on for a few days more.

Thanks to Steve and Shirley for being fantastic hosts during our buildup for Dakar 2009. The mixture of terrain was excellent to say the least, from good technical riding to being able to open up the big rally bikes. If you could say a big thanks to the hotel and everyone working there as they really went out of their way to look after us and make us all welcome, even though we had taken over their car park for 5 days. Everyone made us very welcome in the area and we hope to be back down this year for more testing and riding before we cross over into Morocco.
