Come to relax and refresh yourself in the unspoilt Genal Valley, Serrania de Ronda, 20 minutes from historic Ronda in the Serrania, 1 hour north of Marbella in real Spain. La Casa del Llanete is a beautiful restored Spanish house, with breathtaking mountain views, in the middle of a small traditional village, where you get the best of both worlds, a stunning environment and local character; off the beaten track, but not isolated.

We are a guest house with space for a maximum of 6 people at any one time, offering a break in real Spain in the tranquil, friendly small white village of Alpandeire in the Genal Valley, close to historic Ronda. The village has great charm as well as excellent food in the local restaurants. You can come to relax and refresh yourself, recover from major illness or a hectic working life or to just to give yourself the chance to try something new in a comfortable, relaxed and supportive environment.

Here at the house, we offer creative drawing and painting breaks. Learn, or keep developing, a skill for life. Whether your interest is representational, abstract, colour, texture, people, animals or landscape, whether you are neat or messy and whether you have some experience or none, these breaks are about exploring your own interests and potential for drawing and painting as well as learning techniques to help you achieve satisfying results.
We also offer individual tailored retreats, walking holidays for individuals and small groups of up to six people as well as accommodation for independent walkers and bird-watchers throughout the year. Inspired by the beautiful scenery, dramatic skies, the bird life and clear air as well as the relaxed and friendly atmosphere created at the house and in the village.

If you like more activity there are opportunities for mountain biking, abseiling and horse riding within the area of the Serrania, although not provided by us, we are happy to help you arrange these activities.
We are close to Ronda and within 2 hours of, Seville, Gibraltar, Jerez, Cadiz and the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts. visit sites of special interest, visit historic cities, visit the coast.
