enough to live here, we can take you to all the most attractive sights and you will not need to join a coach or drive on unknown roads with the 'help' of an out of date guide book. Situated just 10 kms inland from the Costa del Sol, is a region of Andalucia known as Axarquia, given this name by the Moors who lived here for six hundred years. The mountains climb to over 7000 ft and the views are fabulous, but we are also only a half hour drive to the Mediterranean and an hour and a half to the marvellous city of Granada and the stunning Alhambra palace.
